As planned, our sailing trip in the North Sea in October began! We set off under a beautiful sun and a light breeze, soon replaced by a strong wind. The sea became rough as soon as we reached the north of Denmark, with swells sometimes reaching 5 meters. Fortunately, Time For Oceans II is a seaworthy and sturdy sailboat, and we made it through without any problems.
With Pierre-Yves and Anthony, life on board quickly settled into a routine, each taking a watch with a crew member on deck while the third slept soundly in the cabin.
Passing off Dover, the flow of cargo ships was so heavy that we had difficulty crossing it to head for the French coast.
With very strong winds forecast off the coast of Brittany, we stopped in Saint Quai Portrieux. A big thank you to the marina staff for their warm welcome, in the rain and in the middle of the night!!

A few days later, the final leg of the journey was completed in challenging and unfavorable conditions, with a headwind.
Good things come to those who wait, and Time For Oceans II is now moored in its home port of Kernevel.
Now it’s time for maintenance, winter storage, and preparations for the 2026 season.
